This new series comprehensively addresses the new Part B MRCS OSCE syllabus. Material is presented in structured question-answer format throughout, covering the most commonly asked & most complicated OSCE topics
The advent of the OSCE format for the Intercollegiate MRCS exam part B holds no problems for candidates brought up in this format but holds great anxiety for those particularly from overseas to whom this is a very different and anxiety provoking experience. This text covers clinical examination communications and history taking and provides a good introduction to the exam format and what is expected of the candidate. The text is clear and well laid out with clear illustrations giving insight into scenarios. It will be of special use to those unfamiliar to this type of exam and also be an excellent text for final year medical students and FY1 Doctors doing a surgical firm.
